TaggedWorks Accessibility Statement

Conformance Target & Standards

The TaggedWorks website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and user-friendly for everyone.

Formal Conformance Statement:

TaggedWorks aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This website has been architected and evaluated using automated regression tooling, manual keyboard testing, high-zoom reflow verification, and assistive technology testing.

Measures to Support Accessibility

TaggedWorks takes the following affirmative measures to ensure full accessibility across our digital platforms:

  • Semantic HTML5 First: Using native landmarks (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>), strict heading hierarchies (H1 through H4), and native <button> and <a> elements.
  • Zero Clickable <div> Elements: Ensuring all interactive elements are naturally focusable and operable via standard keyboard events (Enter and Space).
  • Universal Visible Focus: Implementing a 3px solid focus indicator with an offset that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 SC 2.4.13 across all interactive elements.
  • Programmatic Color Contrast: Designing tokens such that all body text achieves at least 7:1 contrast (WCAG AAA) and non-text UI borders exceed 3:1.
  • Responsive Reflow: Supporting 200% text resizing and 400% zoom at 1280px without loss of content or horizontal 2D scrolling (WCAG 2.2 SC 1.4.10).
  • Accessible Form Architecture: Providing explicit <label> associations, inline error descriptions linked via aria-describedby, top-level error summaries, and zero inaccessible CAPTCHAs.
  • No Overlay Widgets: Relying strictly on native code standards rather than third-party accessibility overlays or toolbars.
  • Respect for User Preferences: Honoring prefers-reduced-motion: reduce and forced-colors: active (Windows High Contrast Mode).
